Сказка

Important Soviet Russia / USSR order from a previously large group of awards and decorations of a top ranked Soviet russian General. This Red banner order 5th award is numbered with the highest known so far number 787 (с этим не поспоришь :45:) and apparently it was awarded during November 1990 with State Decree #N-1105-5. The order comes with an original Paul McDaniel certificate #020406-13 issued on Feb 4th 2006 and stating that the piece is Type 4, Variation 1 Order of the Red Banner 5th Award with Serial number 787 and 9.5 out of possible 10 condition. The COA also includes details that there are the letters "BAC" handwritten in red ink at reverse and the serial number is hand engraved at 6 o'clock position on the reverse. It is also stated that the order measures 44.1mm in height, 36.1mm in width and weighs 24.8 grams. There are only a few tiny scratches in the red and white enamels and only a few tiny scratches and dings in the silver. In addition to this certificate, there is a personal letter from Paul McDaniel to previous owner where along with payment details there is a line about this Red Banner #5 piece stating it is the highest number McDaniel has ever seen. This piece was originally part of a large group of orders that belonged to USSR Soviet Russian General Vasyagin and the group was originally purchased several years ago from direct Markov sale :45: The red ink handwritten abbreviation "BAC" at reverse is actually done by markov's hand. The order comes with a copy of the General's awards list that is originally kept in the Russian State archives. as well as a large copy of one of his original photos. The group was split apart about an year ago and it originally consisted of an Order of Kutuzov 2nd Class, Red Banners 3rd and 4th awards, East German DDR highest ranking decorations, as well as many other orders, medals and badges of all sorts and kinds. Scarce militaria piece and one of the rare Soviet Russian highest military decorations, orders and medals.
