unfortunately I just have only a little more infos, e.g. where he (3./504) fought in Toscana and Emilia between june and september 1944, but htey are dispersed in my docs about the 504. I found a doc with his signature in a paper from Freiburg, so I am not able to give it away. I have to dig in my documents' box, and it takes some time.
I know he wanted to process as a thief of military materiel a soldier who, knowing his home was bombed, found and drunk a bottle of his wine, although he wanted to repay it after he knew the proprietor. In the end this soldier was sent to PzErsAbteilung 500 where he ended the war in the Rhur Pocket.
He is still alive.
